Gene Curation Liason

Abigail Sveden, MS, CGC, is a certified genetic counselor, and received her Masters in Genetic Counseling from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2022. In her current role as the Translational Genomic Medicine Specialist at the RSZ-TNC at Boston Children’s Hospital, her research focuses on rare neurodevelopmental genetic conditions. She previously worked at the Broad Institute performing variant curation for rare disease. In addition to neurogenetics and genomics, Abigail also has strong interests in topics of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field of genetic counseling.
