Genetics Counselor, Boston Children’s Hospital

Sonal is a licensed genetic counselor in the Epilepsy Genetics Program at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) since 2018. Her area of expertise is Neurogenetics. She provides counseling to families in the BCH Epilepsy Genetics Program and Neurogenetics clinics. She is the coordinator for the BCH KCNQ2 registry, and is a member of the Harvard site for the National Brain Gene Registry. Sonal received a BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters in Genetic Counseling from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2014.
